The HITZINGER No-Break Dynamic Diesel (NBDD) system onsists of a rigid fly­wheel that rotates at a con­stant speed and is attached directly to the gen­er­ator shaft. This type of UPS system is often referred to as a rotating unin­ter­rupt­ible power supply.

In the event of a brief or com­plete power failure, the kinetic energy stored in the fly­wheel is used to supply the energy required until the diesel gen­er­ator takes over the supply of the loads.

In com­plex processes, a brief power failure can result in con­t­a­m­i­na­tion and pro­duc­tion stop­pages. U POWER NBDD pre­vents this and thus pre­vents down­times and shutdowns.
