In a former anti-aircraft artillery garage in Wegscheid, Helmholtzstraße 46 a garage was installed to repair destroyed electrical and combustion engines.
Gensets, electromotors of all kind were newly wound and also mechanically repaired. Repairworks for the ÖBB made it necessary to purchase new slot-maker and a hydraulic press to refurbish those stators and rotors from oilpumps, compressors and tractionmotors upt o 725 kW, which were destroyed by core burning. So the first steps in the direction of being a manufacturer of electric machines were done.
Furtheron also the production of this and other components for E-loks as collectors, continuous switches, break and start up resistors, point setting actuators, line breaker actuators, power supply for rail; - telephone and security systems widened the range of products for the railway program. The cicil sector was supplied with sasynchronous motors for agricultural machines and DC motors.
The need for space made ist necessary to look for new locations both for production and for administration.
